Five hundred years ago, Michelangelo, Bernini, Bramante and other great artists transformed a Rome in ruins into the Baroque gem it is today. Our guides will lead you to their great masterpieces, like Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, and the impressive St. Peter’s Basilica, as well other sites often overlooked, like the markets and nightlight of Campo di Fiori, Piazza Navona’s open-air gallery, and the majestic Pantheon.
You’ll be amazed at how much ground you cover on your Segways. Our guides will lead you through the maze-like roads of Rome, where a new treasure awaits you around every corner.
Meeting point at Borgo Pio district, in Vicolo del Farinone 23 (Rome St. Peter’s). Meeting with our tour leader, riding training session and departure: Porta St. Angelo – Via dei Coronari – Piazza Navona – Via dell’ Orso – Ara Pacis – Via del Corso – Piazza del Popolo – Pincio – Belvedere – Trinità dei Monti – Piazza di Spagna – Fontana di Trevi – Piazza St. Ignazio – Campo dei Fiori – St. Peters’ – Borgo Pio.

Minimum age requirement
Min. 16 years old. Exceptionally, we can accept after a training session, children at least 12 years old , minimum 45 kg. weight, under parents responsibility written declaration.
For senior people (over 75)
it is required to have adequate motorial skill like going up and down stairs without help. We highly recommend to book a private tour in order to allow the tour leader to give them personalized service.

Cancelletion Policy
The tour goes on rain or shine. No money refunds will be made for lost airplanes, busses, trains etc., Total refund will be made for cancellations made within 72hrs of the tours departure.

I wanted to write to all of you there at Rome by Segway Tours, to
personally thank you for such an enjoyable experience and the truly
personal service you provided to us.
My son Chris and I took the Imperial Rome tour with Marco Thursday July
08, 2010 and so thoroughly enjoyed it that we signed up for another
(private tour) for Saturday.Your tours where very informative, yet
relaxed in nature. The most amazing thing was how much of Rome we were
able to see in the 3 hours aboard the Segways. It would have taken days
of walking to see what we were able to see. That makes the cost of the
Segway Tour truly good value for money, and the cheapest way of seeing
the sights in a short time.
Our private tour on Saturday (with “Hector”, I know that is not correct
spelling, my apologies) was also excellent! Being able to see the back
alleys, small streets and hidden piazzas of Rome was an experience that
you could not get with any other mode of transportation.
Marco, as I told you before I left Rome, I now was hooked. We enjoyed
the Segway Personal Transport experience so much that I ordered one for
our own personal use. We can now enjoy Segway riding EVERY DAY.
All of you were very kind, helpful and friendly with us, I felt as if I
had personal friends in Rome by the time we left. Your offer of help to
locate my Son’s lost Sony PSP was very kind and much appreciated. Thank
you all again for the truly wonderful experience. I will always
recommend your services to anyone going to Italy….it is a MUST DO
tour!
